Why "Gray Carrot"? Actually it is a user name assigned to me by one of the websites I subscribe to. But it does have some symbolic meaning.
I was born with red hair and many times through my travels I was called "carrot-top". No, not the one of media fame. I didn't mind the nickname but it was confusing knowing that the top of a carrot is green. I guess that's a country/city thing.
Now that I'm older and wiser, with gray hair, gray carrot seems appropriate.
Since I'm retired I have more time than the average working person to research products and services.
As an example, I searched the internet for several months looking for a work-at-home opportunity that was mentally challenging and provided a worth while service. I was amazed at how many "get rich quick" scams were on the internet. One site caught my attention and I was about to click to commit when I decided to sleep on it. After further research I discovered it was the mother of all scams, slick, but still a scam.
My goal is to share my thoughts and opinions along with as much research as possible. Check out my website, www.graycarrot.com, if you like.
In all my years of sales and management I never tried to sell a product I didn't believe in. Oh, I lost some sales to competition, but many times I gained a long term loyal customer.
